Basheer Alismail is the CEO and Founder of Monument Health, a healthcare management company focused on small to mid-size specialist group strategies.  Monument Health was founded during the COVID-19 healthcare crisis and focuses on helping physician groups thrive in independence through augmented operational support and investment strategies across the country.

 

Mr. Alismail previously lead the Northeast region for Surgical Care Affiliates, a subsidiary of United Health Group, as a Group Vice President of Operations.  During his time as Group Vice President, Mr. Alismail lead a team of business and clinical professionals overseeing more than 40 ASCs across 6 states.  Prior operational experience included leading teams of ASC leaders in Georgia and Southern California as a Vice President of Operations.  Before his operational career, Mr. Alismail pioneered SCA’s Financial Planning and Analysis team and supported SCA’s IPO on the NASDAQ in 2013.
