Harriett Flowers is a visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in the software and SaaS industries, driving the creation of innovative systems that have collectively generated over $1 billion in revenue. Her career spans a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, financial services, and data center automation.

 

In 1990, Harriett founded IMaCS/Accuro and later was founding investor and Director of Transplant Connect and Payer Compass.  All three startups were trailblazing SaaS Solutions with very successful PE exits to Welsh Carson, Riverside Company, and Spectrum Equity / Health Enterprise Partners, respectively.  Accuro is now the core revenue cycle component of FinThrive and Payer Compass was acquired by Zelis in 2022.

 

Harriett’s expertise and investment focus lies in startups that deliver automation solutions where clinical services meet financial operations:  physician engagement in value-based care, revenue cycle innovations, hospital admission cost estimators, and population health payment administration.  

 

Today, Harriett remains deeply engaged in the software and healthcare industries as a mentor and investor. She advises entrepreneurs and investors, leveraging her vast experience to help shape industry-changing technology products. 

 

Harriett is currently Board Chair and CEO of CareMetro, a sister company to BridgepointMD in which we share technology platforms and resources.   She is instrumental in guiding BridepointMD’s technology strategies through in-kind contribution of time, operational expertise, solution/product architecture, and developer resources.
