Suniti Ponkshe is a seasoned advisor, board member, and operating executive with a distinguished career spanning the private and public sectors. She has successfully guided healthcare payers, providers, federal agencies, and product companies—from startups to large enterprises—through transformational growth and operational excellence. As a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) and strategic advisor, Suniti specializes in leveraging technology to drive business success, de-risking operations, and preparing middle-market companies for successful exits.

 

With deep expertise in professional services, technology, healthcare, and startups, Suniti has played a pivotal role in multiple organizations, advising on technology strategy, talent acquisition, and digital transformation. She has held leadership positions at Newport LLC, Accenture, IBM, Optum, and CareMore, in addition to serving as CIO for prominent healthcare and academic institutions. Suniti has also contributed to numerous nonprofit and advisory boards. In addition to her professional roles, she has co-authored a book and served as a guest lecturer at several graduate and undergraduate programs. She holds degrees in Statistics, Economics, and Law from Bombay (Mumbai) University and an M.S. in MIS from Texas Tech University.
